Sequim City ARTS 

Sequim's City Arts Advisory Commission created this site for our art community in Sequim and the greater Olympic Peninsula region to provide art sharing and support during COVID-19. It has since evolved into a place for sharing art-related opportunities, resources and information.

On this site you will find upcoming opportunities offered by the City Arts Advisory Commission (CAAC). A big new project the CAAC is launching for 2021 is Sequim Understory, a creative placemaking initiative (more info here) that will engage with the community in order to plan and design Centennial Place (the asphalt lot at the corner of Sequim and Washington in downtown Sequim). As part of  Sequim Understory, CAAC is releasing a Call for Artists (more info here) which offers a $1,000 stipend to two artistic proposals that will help tell the story of Sequim.

 We conducted an interview series (find here) of local artists during the pandemic. Artists shared their insights, practices and craft. Please check out and enjoy!
